For the actors, I would choose Kaya Scodelario or Alexandra Daddario as Tessa Gray as in the book it describes her as a brunette with piercing blue-gray eyes. For Will Herondale the actor would be Nicholas Hoult but with black hair, as the actor has the description of the character down. Will Herondale is described to be a sarcastic teenage boy with black hair and blue eyes. As for Jem Carstairs, I would choose Max Irons as the book depicts him (whilst not ill) as a brunette-haired teenager with dark brown eyes. And whilst the character is ill, the actor must have silver hair and silver eyes. The set would be in London as the book is set there.

If I could choose one character to be my friend, I would choose Kitty. I would choose Kitty because she is very fierce and sassy. And whenever she wants something she is very determined to get it, she also thinks she is very persuasive which would be very amusing to watch. She may be young but she is very tough and somehow, at the same time, caring. Overall, she has a spunky personality (and lots of it) and is very funny.

The Case of the Bouncing Chicken Wing

It was a cold, dreary day. The rain poured and the wind whistled. Thomas trudged out of the classroom. His final lesson of the day had just ended. His stomach grumbled hungry for a snack. So he hopped on a bus and ran to his favourite fast-food restaurant. "Eight chicken wing pieces." he said to the half-asleep cashier. 

Then the chicken wings came out, sizzling and delicious. Thomas inhaled the steam rising from the chicken wings. Ah, heavenly, he thought. Thomas popped one into his mouth, ignoring the burning sensation to focus on the juicy tenderness of the chicken wing. He took a bite when suddenly, he felt it move in his mouth. It moved up and down at a vigorous pace. It's movements became more rapid, almost as if it was jumping. He reluctantly opened his mouth and out it came. It hopped out and onto the table, then the floor and bounced its' way out of the restaurant and onto the street. Thomas simply watched, his jaw dropped. Simply speechless.
