Allyson Braithwaite Condie, better known as Ally Condie is an American writer who mainly writes young-adult fiction. She was born on the 2nd of November 1971 in Cedar City, Utah. For college, she went to Brigham Young University and got a degree in English Teaching. She taught high-school English in Utah and upstate New York. She is currently living outside of Salt Lake City in Utah with her husband and three sons and daughter. She wrote the Matched trilogy, a science-fiction and dystopian book series, the Yearbook trilogy, a young-adult fiction series, and three (standalone) fiction novels: Freshman for President, Being Sixteen and Atlantia. The first book of the Matched trilogy, Matched was a New York Times best-sellling book. The Matched trilogy has been translated into over 30 languages.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite book of hers has to be this one because I love the way she writes and the theme of the book, which is very similar to The Giver! Which is also a book I highly recommend! :)
